96, of Honolulu, a retired bookkeeper for GM Automotive Center, passed away on January 28, 2020 at home. She was born in Kamuela, Hawaii. She is survived by sons, Glenn (Gail), Alan (Rene) and Larry (Stephanie); daughter, Ann (Gaylen) Ho; brother, Morris Ryusaki; and by seven grand- children and three great-grand- children. Katsuye “Marian” Tajiri
97, of Honolulu passed away on January 19, 2020. She was born on August 24, 1922 in Holualoa, Kona, HI. She was a devoted wife to late husband Toshinori "George" Tajiri. As a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and friend, she touched many lives and we were blessed with her unconditional love, kindness, and "Others First" philosophy. Survived by son Mark (Charleen) Tajiri; daughters Nancy (Roy) Hashimoto, Aileen Tsuneyoshi, Deborah Junko Yamada. 90, of Aiea, passed away on January 27, 2020. Born in Pepeekeo, South Hilo, Hawaii. She was a devoted mom. Predeceased by husband, Shigeru; daughter, Charleen; brothers, Harry and Mickey; brothers-in-law, Robert and Tatsuo and his wife, Betsy Kubota, and sister-in-law, Jane Ueda. James Kiyoshi Yogi
Early in the morning of January 22, 2020, James went to our Lord at the age of 82. He passed away at the Na Koa Healthcare home in Aiea and was also under hospice care by Malama Ola. James was born on December 25, 1937 in Wailuku, Maui to parents, Seichi Yogi and Chiyoko Higa. He attended Pauoa, Lanakila and Kuhio Elementary Schools; Washington Intermediate; Kaimuki High and graduated from Farrington in 1955. He also attended the University of Hawaii. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was employed by the Typewriter Shop and retired from Honolulu Plumbing and the City and County of Honolulu, Parks and Recreation Dept. James was a member of Plumbers and Fitters United Association Local 675 and Aza Gushikawa Doshi Kai. James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kay Taone Yogi; daughters, Angela (James Poyo, Jr.) and Ramona; five grandchildren; sisters, Patsy (Walter) Zukemura, Doris (Norman Goo) Worl, Diane Brown; brothers, Philip (Soon) Worl and Bruce Worl.
