Basic funeral services
Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.
Embalming
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

FACILITIES AND STAFF
We offer funeral and memorial services at the mortuary, as well as assistance if you choose to have your celebration of life elsewhere - at your church, or home, or local community center. If you choose to have your service at the mortuary, we help by coordinating all services including your caterer and flowers.

We offer you the option to purchase a travel assurance plan (APASI) - In the event of death who is 100+ miles away from their legal residence, APASI will render every assistance, and pay for locating a local mortuary to assist with arrangements.
GUARANTEED TRAVEL ASSURANCE PLAN
We offer a complementary obituary post on our website including a photo and personalized text, when provided by the family. If you wish to place your obituary in the Star Advertiser, we will help coordinate the placement for you.
