He is survived by his wife, Gladys Fukumitsu; three children, Cynthia Fukumitsu, Steve (Jani) Fukumitsu and Kimberly (Troy) Yoshimura; grandchildren, Nathan, Katie, Kally and TJ; sister Sumie (George) Sonoda; sister-in-laws, Michiyo (Gilbert) Fukumitsu, Frances (Gary) Fukumitsu, Mary (Roy) Yokoyama; nieces and nephews. A private service was held in Honolulu. Interment will be scheduled at a future date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. The family has requested no flowers or monetary offerings.
