He is survived by his wife, Chun Ja; sons, Daniel (Sharon) Daly and Michael Daly; daughter, Christine (Lex) Caparas; brothers, Gary (Laura Ajimine) and Larry; sisters, Carol (Herbert) Kamehaiku and Sharon (Ronald) Tomasa; and by three grandchildren. Visitation is at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service begins at 10:00 a.m. Casual attire.

Florence H. Yamada, 86, formally of Hilo, passed away on January 19 in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Setsuo "Chop" Yamada (d.1996) and her first husband, William Iwao Fujii (d.1962). She is survived by her children, sons, Craig Fujii, Derrick Fujii; daughters, Kathy (Howard) Chung, Teri (JR) Parel, Stacey Yamada, Kara Yamada and Grace (John Hausler) Yamada; six grand- children and 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Masayuki (Thelma) Mitsuda and Kenneth Yoneda. A private service was held at Hosoi Mortuary on Friday, February 7.

Preceded in death by husband, Wallace, she is survived by her daughter, Terry (Ross) Sasamura; grandsons, Reed (Alice) and Rawlin (Cathy) Sasamura; brother, Shizuo (Hatsumi) Ikeda; sisters, Jane (Takuo) Watanabe and Betsy Marumoto. Private services held. Family requests no monetary offerings.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughters, Gayle Abe, Carolyn (Mel) Arakaki, and Jeryl Kam; son, Ray; six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Private services were held.
