87, of Honolulu, a retired teacher at Kalihi Uka Elementary School, passed away on May 6, 2017 at Avalon Care Center. She is survived by daughters, Debra Nakashima and Krisan (Brooks) Tamaye; sister, Marjorie Yoshioka, and by 4 grand- children and 2 great-grand- children. Visitation is at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service is at 10:00 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
